It is so refreshing to hear such good depressive black metal coming from South Korea. This album augurs well for the future of the band; it carries lots of emotions through the beautiful yet harrowing riffs and most of all the impressively powerful and heartbreaking vocals of the singer. Black metal needs more talented female vocalists like this one!

While this album might not be anything particularly mind-blowing, it's still a good example of how DSBM should be done. I have a soft spot for this album as its seductive gloominess helped me through a certain rough patch in my life, and I believe it to be somewhat of a hidden gem. Rest in peace, Reverend John Hex.
